Katie's flight arrived at 5:15 a.m. She finally made her way through the gate to me, C and S at around 6:00 a.m. She was tired, but looked great sporting her new tan (apparently quite a nice sunburn initially). After 10 hours on a bus and then 10 hours on a plane, she looked surprisingly good. As many of you know, Katie is a woman of a few words, but she said that the experience was amazing. As soon as she saw us, she showed me a note that one of her student's had written to her and talked about another who desperately wanted to stay in touch. I think her pictures (particularly the smiles say it all). By the way, for those of you who claim that you never see Katie in a picture -- enjoy she is in many of them.
