We started our day early with a visit to the Tower of London. Our tour guide was none other than the first woman named a Yeoman Warder (one of the guards at the Tower of London who guards the Crown Jewels). Yoeman Warders otherwise known as Beefeaters, must have served at least 22 years in the military and must hold a Long Service and Good Conduct medal. After touring the Tower of London, we met Trish at the Kensington Palace. Trish (a friend of mine) happened to be in London with her husband and while he worked during the day she toured with us. We toured the palace and visited the Fashion Rules exhibit -- gowns from HM Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana. We then headed to Harrods for a little shopping and a very expensive glass of wine (me an Trish that is). After resting for an hour or so at the hotel, we left for dinner at 8:30. While I would have been content to go across the street, the girls insisted that we go back to SoHo for dinner. After dinner, we walked around a little bit and then went back to the hotel.
