For our last day in London, we headed to Westminister Abbey where we met Trish. After touring Westminister Abbey, we headed to Covent Garden. We had lunch at Jamie Oliver's Union Jacks at Covent Garden. Elinor and Ana sampled the fish and chips. After lunch and shopping at Covent Garden, we visited the British Museum. While it was probably 90 degrees in the museum, we got to see the Rosetta Stone, huge winged human headed bulls from the city gates of the capital of Sargon II of Khorsabad and Cleopatra's mummified remains to name of few of the pieces in the museum. The last stop before dinner was the London Eye. Katie and I opted out, but Sarah, Elinor, Ana and Trish took a ride on the Eye (a very large ferris wheel that takes 30 minutes to make one rotation and provides the best views in London). For our last meal in London, we decided on Chinese food. Once again, we hit culinary firsts for Ana and Elinor as they both tried duck for the first time.
