We left our house on a cold damp morning (you know the usual in northern Germany) for an hour and a half car ride to Marksburg Castle. After a number of winding roads and some beautiful scenery we arrived at the Castle on the Rhine River. Even though muted by rainy weather, the view from the Castle was beautiful. After an hour tour, we went to a restaurant in Braubach. We had a nice day despite the ugly weather.
