Our last day in Venice began with an elevator ride to the top of St. Mark's Campanile. As you can see from the pictures, it was rainy and foggy. While we were up there the bells rang. All and all, a cold and wet experience, but interesting nontheless. After St. Mark's Campanile, we took a tour of the secret passages of the Doge's Palace. It rained heavily all day, but we made the best of it. We headed to the Guggenheim (yes, the one in Venice) and Christopher's choice for a museum. We got soaking wet waiting to get in to the museum. After we dried out, we had dinner at TRATTORIA ALE CARAMPANE. It was amazing! Back to Germany early tomorrow morning.
