Advice for the day -- Do not leave your front door open because you never know who will drop in. We occasionally leave the front door open so that Mac and Ana can go in and out freely. I went out for a few errands and when I returned, Katie told me that a bird was in the bathroom (in fact, when she went in there to get something, it scared the daylights out of her). I tried to figure out how to get the bird out of the house without hurting it. It was quite a scene. Katie helped and Sarah ran away, at times trying to get our efforts on video. Eventually, we got the window open and got the bird to fly out. Then all that remained was the clean-up!
