June 29, 2013 -- Berlin Day 2

Berlin Day 2 except for Dinner (Dinner entry to follow)

We got a lazy start to the day.  At about 11:30, we headed out to the Holocaust Memorial and then to Museium Island, specifically, the Pergamon Museum.  In the Pergamon Museum, we saw the Pergamon Alter (2nd century B.C.), the Ishtar Gate of Baylon (8th century B.C.)  and the Assyrian Base-Reliefs (8th-7th century B.C.)  Before heading off to dinner, we toured the Bundestag.  We saw a great view of Berlin from the top of the Bundestag,
