FIS hosted the conference tournament for slow pitch softball. Although Sarah stands by the statement that slow pitch softball is not real softball, she helped her team win the tournament by hitting three homeruns in the Championship game (one of which was a grand slam). Katie, not to be out done, pitched the last two games, one of which was the Championship game, filling in for FIS's pitcher who injured her knee yesterday. All and all it was a good weekend. Both Corsicos made the All-Tournament Team. The girls will play in London next week in the ISSTs.
