December 28, 2013 -- Snowmobiles
Sunday was our last full day in Tromso. We took a walk around the town, but most things were closed. Actually, Tromso makes Germany look like a hotbed of activity. We even had trouble finding a place for lunch. At 5:45 pm, we took the 90 minute ride back to the camp, but this time we were riding snowmobiles instead of dog sleds. Christopher and I shared driving responsibilities which was a little scary for me since he has never driven. K and S shared a snowmobile and that left Chris with the other odd person. As you see below, there are no pictures because it was pitch black. We all survived without a mishap except for poor Chris. The guy he shared the snowmobile with tipped it over and Chris's leg got pinned underneath. Thankfully, he suffered no major injuries.
